CUSTOMERS

Our Terms and Conditions are simple. We will not be held liable for any information supplied by any other party. We have attempted to input all information correctly however we will not be held accountable for any incorrect information held on our site.

Our accommodation providers are responsible for outlining their own terms and conditions and should inform all potential customers of these prior to booking. We advise that a 7 day cancellation period be used where a customer will be due the balance of the first night's accommodation if cancelling within 7 days of the booking.

ADVERTISERS

TartanHotels.com provides simplicity, flexibility and choice to our customers and advertisers alike. As an advertiser you can showcase your accommodation to thousands more customers than previously possible. We accept all accommodations across Scotland including Hostels, Bed and Breakfasts', Lodges, Guest Houses, Hotels, Luxury Hotels and Self Catering Accommodations.

We currently advertise globally however we also gain custom from local areas including national companies with offices all over the country.

The enquiry and reservations procedure is simple.

1. The potential guest will send an accommodation request directly to the accommodations they set out in the search parameters

2. The accommodation provider will respond to confirm the availability and price of the room(s). There will be 2 options at this stage. The first will be used if the accommodation provider can supply the relevant accommodation sought by the potential guest. The second will be used if they cannot provide the required accommodation but have alternative accommodation available.

3. The guest may accept the offer. If they do then a 10% credit/debit card payment will be paid directly to us. A confirmation email will then be sent to the accommodation to accept the booking. On acceptance of the booking an email will be sent to both parties with each others contact details so that any further arrangements can be made.

4. The balance will then be paid to the accommodation provider complying with their terms and conditions

Under no circumstance should contact details be relayed before a booking is confirmed. If this is discovered then any contract can/will be terminated with immediate effect and the accommodation in question will be removed from the site.

In the event of Cancellations and ‘No Shows' the individual accommodations' terms and conditions will come into effect. For this to be valid, the customer must receive the accommodations terms and conditions within the response to the initial enquiry. If these terms and conditions are not sent to the customer then there will be no way to recoup those losses.

If however the terms and conditions have been sent then they will be honoured and you will receive a company cheque from Tartan Accommodation Ltd to cover the amount in question.
