Glasgow
Scotland’s largest city and home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Billy Connolly and the famous football teams Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers.

Glasgow is famous for many things including beautiful architecture, superb shopping and it’s abundance of fine dining facilities.

The sporting capital of Scotland, Glasgow is home to several football teams, as well as being the centre for Scottish Athletics and home of The Scottish Institute of Sport.

Glasgow was in it's heyday, regarded as the working class city of Scotland. The Clyde shipyard was previously one of the busiest ports in the world. It was at the centre of building war ships during both World Wars, and as a result, was heavily bombed.

Glasgow itself is a beautiful city and provides a great base for exploring the Ayrshire countryside to the south and the islands to the north.
