| St Andrews | St Andrews is known the world over as the home of golf. The Open is still played here regularly and the local area is vast with golf courses and keen golfers from all over the world. The other main feature of St Andrews is the University, the oldest in Scotland.
Founded in 1410 the University dominates the centre of the town in terms of its physical presence and the number of students surrounding the streets. The University has graduated a number of famous people including Prince William.
St Andrews is also home to one of Scotland’s largest cathedrals and most beautiful beaches
There really is something for everyone in this lovely seaside Scottish town |
